Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Toronto (CCAT) is a charitable organization providing health and social services to individuals and families across the Greater Toronto Area, regardless of faith or cultural background. Eligibility Requirements (Canada Summer Jobs Program)

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection status
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • International students are not eligible

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Assist in creating and designing marketing and communications materials for various initiatives
  • Draft, create, and publish social media and website content aligned with organizational strategy
  • Write and edit program highlights and stories for newsletters and publications
  • Support the implementation of internal and external communications strategies
  • Provide administrative and outreach support to internal teams

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with social media platforms and digital tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is an asset

Position Details

  • Location: 1155 Yonge Street, Suite 400, Toronto, ON (on-site)
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (hybrid – occasional evenings/weekends may be required)
  • Wage: $17.60 per hour
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: 8 weeks
