Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Toronto provides leadership, supports social services, and advocacy to address ongoing and emerging needs in the community. At its core is Catholic Social Teaching, which focuses on the poor and marginalized, and urges all of us to build a just society and safeguard human dignity.
We are currently searching for Logistics volunteers to be the behind-the-scenes crew that makes sure the venue is ready before doors open and packed up when it’s over at Synergy Toronto 2026.
Synergy Toronto 2026 is a step toward breaking down silos, encouraging dialogue, and identifying opportunities for joint action among many Catholic organizations. This conference, as reflected in its current title, Synergy, is about unity, clarity, and transformation. It is a strategic effort to strengthen our collective voice and capacity to serve.
What You’ll Do:
- Help set up signage, banners, tables, and room layouts each day
- Support daily breakdown and the full teardown on the final day
- Run supplies and materials to other teams as needed throughout the event
Good Fit If You:
- Don’t mind physical work, early mornings, or late evenings
- Like being useful, hands-on, and part of making things run smoothly behind the scenes
Time Commitment:
The event is from November 3, 2026 to November 5, 2026. Heaviest Monday evening (setup) and Thursday afternoon (teardown), with support shifts throughout.
